First Visitors

Tony and  I hosted our first visitors from Cleveland this week.  Donna and Bob came in Tuesday afternoon and we have spent a good deal of time trying time trying to get them to move down here.  So far,  no luck, but we are having a really good time.

Today, we went to Oak Island and walked by the ocean.  Bob was teasing the birds and we were all scrambling to miss the bird poop!  Donna and I shopped and she bought us a wonderful house warming gift--a bird and a bowl that now sits proudly on our table right inside the door.  It has all  of the colors of our house and fits in very well.

We had ice cream and walked up and down the streets, stopping at quaint little shops.  Tonight, we are going to dinner at Tony Romanelli's.  Tomorrow, we're taking a carriage ride in historical Wilmington.  It's been a great visit and I hope everyone from Cleveland comes down to stay with us and share a piece of our world.

Highlights:

The birds, just hanging around.

Bob raises his hand, like he has food and it becomes a frenzy!

Bob and the rest of us run from the bird poop.  Birds get revenge when you don't feed them!!

Donna stuck her toe in the ocean and decided it was COLD!

Tony and Bob laughing at Donna.

Bob and Donna, loving the beach!

Sand dunes.

Catus at the beach?????   Only in North Carolina!!
