There is one thing that Tony and I need to do more...go to the beach. We live 25 minutes from Wrightsville Beach and there is ocean all over the place. There is no reason why we aren't at the beach dozens of times....OK...life gets in the way...but we got there today. We went to Topsail Beach today, a favorite because it is not crowded and because there is a nice neighborhood bar there that we discovered. Today we met the owner and had a really good discussion about wine, the evolution of the area and restaurants in general. It's a nice place. It's upscale in a world of sand. It's comfortable in a world of people from all around the US and it has good food. Can't ask for more than that.
The weather was wonderful. The day was beautiful. Tony was fun. I got some sun and took some good pictures. I wish we could spend everyday at the beach!
