How Quiet The House



As always when the kids leave, the house seems so empty.  Tony, Marie, Coleton and Tyson left yesterday.  Coleton was suffering with a new tooth, so they left a day early so he could sleep in his own bed and get some good rest.  While they were here, Coleton was such fun.  He went to the pool, played soccer in the living room and charmed everyone.

David and Bernie left this morning before 9:00 and all of a sudden, it was just Tony, Dixie and me.  Dixie went back to sitting on Tony's lap and we went back to having our coffee on the front porch.  How quiet their exit made the house. 

On one hand, I'm glad to be able to breathe again...well, I'm not breathing easy yet, but I will.  But, it was fun to have everyone--even three dogs in the house. 

I worked most of the time everyone was here, but still got to enjoy some moments of the visit.  David produced a wonderful film about his trip and that was fun to watch.  It felt like we were there with him.
